On the occasion of 130th birthday of Bharatratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, A Special Message from our President of ASA/BCKV.
Namaskar, I’m very much excited today to say something about a great legend of this country on his birth anniversary. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar is worldly famous for his intellect and his efforts for the upliftment of poor section of the Indian society. This nation has produced so many great philosophers, economist, leaders etc. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar is a great leader took birth with great intellect, consistent, relentless, unstoppable instinct. We haven’t understood him fully with our limited thinking capability. A great patriot whose patriotism is observed in the constitution which is fully envisaged towards overeignty, unity and integrity of this nation. The continuous humiliation, atrocities throughout of his life made him stronger, determined and led him to become the architect of the future of this nation. A man of great talent couldn’t be boxed within social humiliation and he invested his whole life to uproot this humiliation, atrocities of social hierarchy throughout India. He is a man with great knowledge in anthropology, economics, sociology, polity, comparative religious discourse etc. We can’t ignore the humiliation, atrocities that he had faced throughout his life just because for coming from a lower strata of hierarchical society. On this day we need to emulate him to create parallel leadership to act against the caste based humiliation, atrocities of this hierarchical society that we’re still facing. Till now we see such humiliation, atrocities are being practiced in India. It clearly indicates the society for which he struggled is not yet achieved. We need social democracy, we just got the political democracy on paper. We need economic progression for all suppressed people otherwise social democracy can’t be traced. He has been portrayed as only dalit leader, I’m glad to say that he is beyond all of these. We haven’t paid attention towards his work, we haven’t practiced his ideas, we haven’t propagated his thoughts. Human evolution is a continuous process so to adjust with the consequences often there are some scopes provided within constitution. We must understand one thing that any misinterpretation of these scopes are fully ill intentional. I find his his work fully towards a great, unique, undividable, diversified nation whose unity with integrity is indestructible. We need to propagate his ideas irrespective of our differences. His dream India is not the society where deprived people are got trapped for begging and dying. India has been working for several years and it needs to be continued until and unless the people get equitable share of national resources. He is the noble man behind the right to equality, right to freedom etc. We need to think beyond all these caste, creed, religion, sex, race etc. to ensure the welfare of all human beings which is fundamental of humanity. Above all we must stand for humanity. Salute you sir. Thank you.
